We have client schools in the Kanto region seeking IBMYP and/or IBDP English Language Arts teachers. There're possibilities for immediate starts, and also from the next academic year. Contract period: Nov 2023 - Mar 2024 (renewable) and/or Apr 2024 - Mar 2025
Contract type: Direct Hire or Dispatch (haken)
Payment: from 300,000yen/month (before tax) + transportation
*Depending on background and experience

Social Insurance: health, pension, and employment insurance
Location: Kanto Region
Lesson: up to 20 lessons a week

Work Days: Mon ~ Sat (Sunday + 1 weekday off)

Work Hours: 8:00 ~ 17:00

*give or take depending on the school schedule 
Classes: English Language Arts (other subjects also considered)

 

Duties

- Planning and teaching lessons
- Making and marking exams
- Curriculum and material development
- Judging at speech contests
- Teaching seasonal courses
- Attending school events and ceremonies

- Attending staff meetings and workshops

 

Candidates must:

- Have a bachelor's degree or higher
- At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience at secondary school
- Have a background in IBMYP and/or IBDP
- Have passion and enthusiasm about education
- Must currently reside in Japan with a valid visa (immediate start positions)
